LET OP: cotrimoxazol 1920 mg = 1600 mg sulfamethoxazol + 320 mg trimethoprim; er wordt in het EPD voorgeschreven op de trimethoprim component In geval van goede orale belastbaarheid kan bij klinische verbetering cotrimoxazol ook per os worden gegeven (zelfde dosering als iv) |

Gentamicine en cotrimoxazol zijn gecontra-indiceerd bij zwangerschap; overleg met infectioloog/arts-microbioloog over de antimicrobiële therapie.
Meldingsplichtige ziekte groep C: Het laboratorium en de arts melden een geval van listeriose binnen 1 werkdag aan de GGD
